Get Well Soon

Martyne and I might have our differences, and I have been upset at some of the tricks she and Hester have played on me, but I am deeply concerned about her recent fall. She is a silly old sausage at times, even though she is younger than me.

She likes to push herself to the limit, but it means if she oversteps the mark she ends up in trouble. I am glad the lovely Hester is nursing her and has imposed a sherry ban. It could be Martyne's redemption. I spoke to little sister on the phone earlier and it seem she can now get about a bit with a couple of walking sticks. I hope she will be fit enough to do the journey home to Edinburgh soon.

I had expected to include some pictures with this post but my computer is playing up again and won't let me attach any. I still have some pillar boxes and train names to share with you. Lets hope I can get the problem fixed soon.

Good to see a new posting from you. I have missed your informative blog posts. Sorry your computer has been playing up as I would have liked to see the pictures of the train names, I'm learning so much about explorers from you. I hope you will be back to your usual standards soon. I think you are amazingly knowledgeable even if wiki sometimes helps you out.

It is nice of you to call me lovely, Robert. As you can imagine Marteen is not a good patient as she lacks patience and her leg isn't improving as fast as she would like. The sherry ban is working, though I fear she may substitute it for something else. It's good to see you have got your computer working again to put a post together.

Seems you have a following of women reading your blog. It could almost be a fan base, I for one am a fan. Glad you are looking after Marteen, Hester.
